My lovely daughter is a teacher. This is her fourth year, and the first that she has been able to work close to home! For the first three years, she taught up north - at first, so far north that you could only reach it by plane, and last year, not so far, but still a long way away.
This year, she is teaching Grade VI. She sent me a picture today. Her class was learning about angles -- with the quilt that I made for her.
Isn't that fun? Hmmm - I wonder if lessons in sewing half square triangles will fit into their curriculum?
